I am currently looking into upgrading my pca bit to get a bit more of an edge from it.
Current specs: Core I5 2500 3.3ghz
Samsung 500gb HDD
4gb DDR3 ram
P8H61-M LE mobo
EVGA GT430 700mhz
500watt thermaltake psu
Aopen nagas G5

I am planning on giving it a bit more grunt so would these specs make it run better (i know it will just how well will it run?)
Core i5 2500
Samsung 500gb HDD
16gb DDR3 8gb x2
P8H61-M LE mobo
EVGA GTX560TI SC
500watt thermaltake psu
Aopen nagas G5

I may upgrade the HDD to an ssd later on when i can afford it but right now im trying to save my cash to get the new upgrades

The 16GB of RAM is unnecessary. 8GB is PLENTY (DDR3-1600 CAS9 1.5v or lower is best). I'd recommend a 7850 over a 560 Ti at the moment... or you could wait for the 660 Ti. The Thermaltake could be a problem... I'd suggest upgrading it (to a Seasonic, Corsair, or PC Power and Cooling one. Certain OCZ ones are fine as well).

I can order a new psu in quite easily, i am currently 14 so funding could be a problem but my parents own a pc store so we have several suppliers but i was actually aiming to get a 7850 but i looked at our supply lists and we cant get any in at the moment but we can get 560 ti and the 16gb ram.
The only reason i have a 500watt thermaltake psu is because i had one in stock and i ordered the pc one day and built it the next and at that point i didnt need a better PSU
