Current the set up I'm thinking about is- http://pcpartpicker.com/p/8xvW

CPU Intel Pentium G620 2.6GHz Dual-Core Processor
Motherboard ECS H61H2-M2(1.0) Micro ATX LGA1155 Motherboard
Memory Corsair 8GB (2 x 4GB) DDR3-1333 Memory
Hard Drive Western Digital Scorpio Black 160GB 2.5" 7200RPM Internal Hard Drive
Video Card Gigabyte Radeon HD 6770 1GB Video Card
Case Diablotek CPA-0390 ATX Mid Tower Case
Power Supply Corsair 430W ATX12V Power Supply
Optical Drive Sony AD-7280S-0B DVD/CD Writer

Its a budget build, mainly going to be used for lighter graphic demanding games like D3, TF2, LoL.

I just wanted to know if maybe it would be better if I dropped down to 4GB of RAM and spent the extra on the GPU, CPU, or whatever else.

If you have any other suggestions/changes that will still fit with the price it is now. (~$400 w/o OS)

More about : opinion

Well that's a shame that I couldn't snag that deal today, but whenever a deal like that comes around is there a GPU that you would recommend thats about ~$100-$150?

10am pt is 1pm eastern. as of this moment, you have 2 hours.

Read this article from tom's

It would seem that 6850 is a good pick @$140.

Speaking of Newegg they also have combo's in each section to help save a few bucks by buying the items in a combo package.
The Gigabyte video card wants a minimum 450w psu to be in the computer , and while the 430w Corsair may work you are at or below the minimum requirement. Just to be on the safe side I would at least get a 450w psu.

This combo is $83.98 and a $10 rebate making the final price $$73 and you get a 500w psu and 8gb of ram.
Or you can go with the 500w Corsair and thier rebate and drop down to 4gb on the ram to keep the price down.

By going with a single 4gb stick of ram you can add a second stick of the same later on if needed.

I found a Apevia 500W ATX Power Supply, and paired with the 8gb of ram I found it to be cheaper than the bundle deal that inzone mentioned. Though it's just ~$2 cheaper it couldn't hurt to save money :p

And does all of the parts seem compatible?

Apevia is not a brand of psu that has a great reputation.
Stick with known quality brands such as Seasonic, Corsair, Antec, XFX, and PC P&C to name a few.
Going cheap on a PSU is the last place to economize.

Agreed, its not something to skimp on at all. I have had Rosewill psu's with no problems as well.

Thanks I was a little wearier about Apevia, but I wasn't completely sure of their reputation. Cool Master is it!
