Want new gpu

well i have 6850 its a great card but i can buy a new card and use this one at my work pc it has my old 4870 its for office use (gaming) when not busy. any way i was thinking of hd 6950 or the gtx 480 or whatever you people might think. oh and a side thing with my setup do i really need 8 gb ram or 4 enough i gave up 2 sticks for my work pc its old ddr2 or should i buy new mobo and ram or the gpu good enough for now fyi the 6850 is a great card i just want power thank you for the time :) :pt1cable:

  1. iirc there isn't TOO much of a difference between ddr2 and ddr3. I would get 8gb of ram, just cause you can and it's cheap. You should look at the 7800 ati, or the 570/580. The nvidia ones are cheap now.

    will crossfire be better i need to buy new mobo for that or just the new card
  6. i just got the m5a99x evo motherboard asus with ddr3 ram now and is so faster on bf3 i can dif i still want gpu so i want sell 6850 to get new 1 i can crossfire now but my psu is 500 watt if any one cares
