  1. If those are the hottest temps in HWmonitor, you are doing fine.

If AMD overdrive works with your motherboard, use that to get core temps and figure out which temp on HWmonitor matches the core temps.
  2. yeah i have amd overdrive n it is the last one on these temps the highest i got was 56c
  3. If your max core temp during two hours of prime 95 is 56c, you are good to go.
  4. thanks be in mind my room keeps cool because of central ac when ac is running i get 49c to 51c when ac not running n room gets warm i got 56c on a 2 hour blend test on prime95 at 4ghz just on multiplier raise stock voltage auto voltage in BIOS
  5. Hi guys I don't mean to barge into this thread. But should I upgrade from a 960t unlocked(6 cores unlocked) to an FX 8120 or 8150. Further details in my thread.
  6. I saw that thread. My answer is no. Video games won't use 8 cores for the foreseeable future, and Phenom II's are faster clock for clock.

For video games, I would consider "locking" the CPU and seeing if you can get a higher clock speed with your overclock. (It's generally easier to increase clock speed with fewer cores)
