Playing with side case off?

Hey so this is my system specs;

AMD Athlon II X2 3.1 Ghz
2GB Ram
AMD Radeon 6770 (Not overclocked)

It's never produced much heat really, before it used to be 60F playing for long periods of time, now however it is a little lower.

Basically I just want to know will it be ok to game with my side case (where the fan goes) is off? The fan was so loud it was just constant rattling no matter what so I just ripped the thing off. My front fans are working, power supply working (Corsair CX430), CPU and GPU fans working my pc is in a wooden compartment so it's not laying on the floor or something.

More about : playing side case

You should be able to monitor your temps with HWmonitor or something like it.

Start the monitoring program, play your games, and check for the highest recorded temps.

If they stay cool, you are fine. (However you have no dust-control with the side of your case off, so you may have to clean your CPU fan and such more often.

Dust is the only problem with this.. There is no problem with the cooling.. Your components may run a little cooler because of the better airflow. But beware of the dust. It can shorten the lifespan of your components and can even damage it.
