Compatible upgrades

hello, I'm needing to upgrade few hardware components and have few questions.

3gb ram
cpu e2180 2ghz
Motherboard a6433w
psu 250 watt stock

plan on playing sc2,diablo3,civilization.

getting GeForce GT 440 GDDR5, Pentium G860, a psu.
will a6433w mobo accept those upgrades even? cant tell if motherboard is any good.

no your motherboard will bot be compatible with your new processor .

CPU's plug in to sockets . The e2180 is socket 775 , the G860 is socket 1155

Good info but what can someone suggest a decent cpu that fits on my pos mb.

There are no worthwhile upgrades available . Socket 775 is dead .

To upgrade you will need to change cpu/ motherboard /RAM and probably the copy of Windows you have .
A more powerful graphics card is required to play games in high detail settings , and that will also mean replacing the power supply .

Expect to pay about $600 for a competent gaming computer
