Brand new never uesed Creative ct7120 DXR2 dvd--no xp drivers

The dvd-rom installs fine with windows drivers.

The card does not start up because the included drivers were for win95...

Even still, it seems to be used. There are more colors and More ram allocated.
Benchmarks are even 200 or more points higher....

It's Just not fully utilized.

Where can i find xp drivers for this device?

Can i use other drivers for this device? Like the 3d cards creative made?


I have been googleing...I went through 30 pages yesterday... If someone could walk me through patching the driver to xp, or maybe writing some for it. If needed. I'd really like to get this thing working as best it could.

Pcwizard 2010 reports the device as a

VxP524 PCI Video Processor??

And obtained the all in wonder 600 pci drivers...

This installed the avivo codecs...But still not the ct7120 drivers needed to start and utilize the cards features.

there are two processors, one handles video and dvd hardware accel.

The other supports hardware accel codecs...mp3 mpeg encodeing and decodeing would be accelerated. Helping to reduce production times of all kinds of audio and media formats.
