Just wait few days and you will see the overclocking results.

It is interesting that you cannot turn GPU boost off. Sneaky, sneaky.... But, smart.

I want to see an overclocked HD7970 vs an overclocked GTX 680 (if you can overclock these cards, none of the reviews I've ready this morning, so far, have overclocking results). It looks, to me, that the HD7970 and GTX680 are pretty evenly matched, clock for clock. But that does nothing for the HD7970 if it cannot clock as high as the GTX680.

The GTX680 beats the HD7970 hands down.

Different vendors will offer different overclocking options. You'll have to wait and compare the different ones. MSI for example has had good tools in the past.

Basically overclocking will be simple.

The GTX680 is THE card for high-end gamers, but it will still take a while for all the vendors to get their products. I'm definitely getting a GTX680, I'm just looking for the best cooling solution.
