HD 5770 Xfire vx. $$

i have an HD 5770 already, and i am looking on ebay at a second GPU (same brand/model) for about $75. i look at the crossfire results of a 5770 on 3dmark vs. say a 6970, and they are pretty identical. now i know the 6970 offers more in the future, especially since you can then buy another 6970 for crossfire then (but hey you might run into the same situation and just buy the next new card vs. the crossfire). anyway, i'm curious if you think it's a good $75 spent, or if i should hold off and buy a single better card later on...

Buy a single good card. Buy 7870 is better than 6970 and in the same price.

i just realized i said 6970 and not 6870. 3dmark06 2 5770s practically tie 1 6870. so...sell the 5770 for $75 and buy a $175 6870 is better than just spending $75 on another 5770?
