That's odd that they only have 1 Sempron and 1 A64. Early adopters are usually enthusiasts who go for the top spec gear.

I think we've got full range available in Europe, strange that North America's premier online vendor doesn't have a wider selection.

The asus one looked pretty nice. They got smart and changed the locations of the pci slots (compared to the A8N32-SLI Deluxe)

I'm curious to see if vendors will carry the 65W and 35W cores, can't wait to see how far those can overclock.
Oh yeah i forgot about those let's see if yonah can get a gig on air witht he same wattage i wonder how much the x2 3800 can go.

I bet that sempron will OC nicely. Good question. I am not sure why they dont have many processors. My biggest question is what type of board to get. I guess I will have to wait til the reviews come in slowly.

Price+OCing Semprons=happy
Something to hold me over until I get enough $ for an X2.

Also, what's the deal with all of the MSI boards at newegg, are they trying to dominate the sales at launch or what?

The recent THG article about the AM2 noted the different Nvidia chipsets for the AM2 - essentially look for a motherboard with the Nvidia 590, as it is intended for enthusiasts.

I seriously doubt the Texans are releasing processors in Europe before the USA lol.
Why dont you show us that link to the full range?

well, is it even worth it to go AM2 when intel is releasing procs thatll dominate the market? Plus, AMD said that a proc that would beat the intel would have to wait until 2008, and a new socket. Im worried AMD already lost teh battle before it started.

The only reason to go with a AM2 right now would be if your building a new pc. You could get a cheap Sempron then later on you could drop in a 65nm X2 or whatever when the prices drop.
Your asking why buy AMD if Intel is going to dominate the market. Well AMD has been dominating the market for some time, but people are still buying Intels right?
AMD may lose the battle in the near future, but they have been winning the battle for some time, you cant be the best forever. Geeesh Intel sure knows that!

Newegg had the AM2 procs on the 24th....just 2...but they didn't have the search function up yet.

I'm so disapointed on the pricing....they're shooting themselves in the cock.

zipzoom has a couple too.
