1) If your playing in 1080p you don't need a 500$+ GPU.
2) We need to see further overclocking test.
3) We need to see if 2gb wasn't a mistake (for us 30inch monitor and 3monitor user that enjoy ultra quality with 4xAA)

If any of you have link that may awnser to the last 2 point plz link them.

Just google some reviews

No OC 680gtx on google and haven't seen any BF3 ultra quality 4xAA ran on a 2G of Vram setup either. Seen plenty of ultra with no AA.

But I'd prefer a benchmark.

its still not the flagship card though which is a bummer, its just a rebranded 660ti or 670 not an actual 680 because its missing the 2200~ cuda cores that the flagship single non sli card is.

There will be a 4gb version. It's on EVGA's site. The 680 still beats the 7970 at 2560x1600, but the gap is smaller. http://www.tomshardware.com/reviews/geforce-gtx-680-rev...

lets say your buying a 680gtx. When the 780gtx will be released you'll probably want to buy a second 680gtx at a cheaper cost. But beeing locked at 2gb this option might not be available to you depending on the game needs at that time so you might be seeling your 680 to buy a 780.

While someone with a 7970 will just buy a second 7970 and chance are that CF 7970 will beat a 780gtx by a mile.

I'm not saying the 680gtx is a bad card. But some poeple get overexited kinda fast for the little info we do have about that GPU.

You can't get a review much better than the Tom's one linked above. Anyway, go for the 4gb version in a few weeks or whatever if you're worried.
