Wifi router forum

Hey

I am having a stupid problem. My internet connection is plug n play. I just plug the lan cable in my laptop and i am connected.

Now I want to use wifi at my place. I have a sitecom router. I set it to default factory settings, plugged in the cable (in modem port). In device status, i can see my static ip, subnet mask and default gateway. But i cant access internet when i connect my laptop to wifi. It says DNS look up failed. I set manual dns too from OpenDNS. Still no luck.

If I insert the lan cable in Lan port of the router and connect the router to my laptop via cable, i am still getting internet connection but again if i disconnect the cable (connecting router and laptop) and connect wireless, no internet again.

Help please.

Edit: I can connect my laptopn to wireless and acess internet if i connect lan cable to lan port of router. But i cant make more than one connection. My cellphone is without wifi now.
