Multiple monitors

i have a 2 monitor set up and i want to play a game and have a video runninng at the same time, however anytime i try to play a game the movie freezes but the audio keeps going, so is there anyway to fix this so the video plays and the game works aswel, one monitor is connected by hdmi and one is conected by dvi, my current video player is jetaudio

I have a core i7 960
Nvidia Gtx 580
6gb ram
gigabyte x58a-ud3r

Hmm.It's definitely not hardware related.Have you tried running the movie(the player) in windowed mode?

Yes i have, if it helps, 1 monitor is a 1920x1080 42" full hd tv, and the other is a 1440x900 montiror what is 18" i think

Have you tried different video player like VLC? Also did you try running your games in window mode, while you have video running?
