I have 2 options for a gaming pc, an Intel and an AMD
Intel:
ASRock H67M-ITX Socket 1155
Intel Core i5-2500K Processor
Kingston HyperX Blu 4GB
Antec Three Hundred ATX
Corsair Gaming Series 600-Watt
Western Digital Caviar Green 750 GB
EVGA GeForce GTX 560 Ti

AMD:
AMD Phenom II X4 975 Overclocked
ASRock 970 EXTREME3 AM3+
Corsair Vengeance 8 GB
Cooler Master Silencio 550
Corsair Builder Series CX600 600 watt
Sapphire Radeon HD 6950 2 GB
Western Digital Caviar Blue 500 GB

    The intel is the stronger build , but its not optimal .

    The K processor is for overclocking and your mb can overclock . Either match that processor to a Z68 or Z77 chipset motherboard , or replace the processor with a i5 3550

    The kingston hyper X blue is either 1333 Mhz or its volyage is too high . You need 1.5 volt or less RAM . 1600 Mhz is ideal

    Get the Antec 300 two . Front USB 3 ports , better cable management

    green hard drives are dumb. They save very little power , but slow loading and boot times a lot .

    The 560 ti is now last generation . The radeon 7850 is a bot more expensive but a lot better
