Hp pavilion dv6000 freezes

Pls i nid help seriously, my hp pavilion dv6000 freeze when it heats up and wont shut down unless i remove the battery. This in turn wont boot until the laptop cools, i often put it in a freezer to cool it. What will i do?

It sounds like it's overheating. I would take it apart then take a can of compressed air and dust everything especially the exaust fan fan grill. I would also clean off the old thermal paste and re-apply new coat of it.
