CD ROM and DVD ROM access missing

Yes have done that and allso tried regedit and followed all the instructions but cannot find the code starting 4D366 etc to delete upper and lower filters,it is driving me nuts,any advice greatly apprecciated

It was a fresh install of windows 7 ultimate

I carried out a complete install of windows 7 ultimate and the old files went to old file,cant acces this and dvd wont burn or recognise reboot discs or reinstall discs

What is your mobo? Try another port. SATA2
