Get it if you want it to blow up in your face.

Coolermasters bad stigma is the result of PSU lines such as the extreme power which are overpriced, cheap, pos's, that are sold just because of CM's brand name in the desktop case biz.

So .... Corsair?

*edit*

I was going to use that power supply with:
*an i5-3570k
*on an Asrock Z77 Extreme4
*an EVGA GTX 560 Ti
with the CoolerMaster Hyper 212 Evo as the cooler.

Yep. The enthusiast series 650 W is an excellent unit and good for most purposes.

Corsair units are excellent with most of the higher end lines made by Seasonic and the budget / ok lines done by CWT.

@abekl Corsair TX Series 80Plus* / Bronze 650w <- this one? I guess I'll have to sacrifice some cash for quality. :/  Corsair is just so damn expensive. :)  hehe

That's the one. It's worth it in the long run.

Of course you can save a few dollars by buying the entry level unit, the builder series, 500W unit. It's really a toss up.

Corsair TX series are excellent units be it the original version made by CWT or the new TX2 made by seasonic. You're not sacrificing any quality at all.
