Is it safe to put GFX cards upright?

So right now my motherboard is laid flat on my table, and I have 2 5870's plugged in upright.

Is this bad for the mobo? Will the PCIE slots bend after a while? They wobble in the slot...

My mobo is the Gigabyte GA-Z68X-UDH3-B3.

If you are concerned about the slot bending, center the card with some TAPE!

Good old tape... just don't use duct tape
