Which is beter cpu for gaming?

I'm going to buy a gamming desktop...I am very much confused about which processor is better for gaming? amd or intel?

Intel because it can execute more instructions every clock cycle (Hz) than AMD can. Therefore, a 3.0GHz Intel CPU is faster than a 3.0GHz AMD CPU.

If I can type 60 words per minute and you can type 50 words per minute, guess who is going to finish typing a 2,000 word essay sooner (i.e. who's faster)?
