Yeah, they're compatible. Have you looked at HD7850s? What about Ivy 3570K?

For compatibility just make sure your motherboard and CPU share the same socket, the RAM is of the correct type and the PSU is sufficient. It's not electrophysics :lol:

You missed out on the full story mate. IB is only hotter past a certain OC. Anything above 4.2 GHz on IB is a waste anyway and at 4.2 GHz, they are not hotter.
