No it won't. Most netbook/laptop motherboards have a very limited amount of compatible CPUs.

Rule of thumb. If you couldn't get the CPU you intend to buy, in a pre-constructed netbook then you can't upgrade aftermarket.

"Intel® Pentium® mobile processor T4200 (1 MB L2 cache, 2 GHz, 800 MHz FSB, 35 W), or T3200/T3400 (1 MB L2 cache, 2/2.16 GHz GHz, 667 MHz FSB, 35 W), supporting Intel® 64 architecture"

Note that the T7700 isn't mentioned. While there is always a slight chance of it working, odds are it will not. First, you will have to have the latest BIOS installed for your motherboard. Second, you'll have to go through the pain of switching the processors and putting it all back together again.

If you want to give it a shot, go ahead. I wouldn't, personally.

Probably not. Honestly, I don't really even see the difference between my (OC'd) 4.0 GHz E8400 and my mom's non-OC'd 2.5 GHz E5200 unless I'm doing something CPU intensive. For day to day tasks, you'll probably notice no difference. For CPU intensive, you still won't notice any major differences.

Since the socket is the same, the processor WILL work. On ark.intel, it says that the supported sockets are the same when you compare both the old and the new CPU (PBGA479, PPGA478).
(Btw i have the same laptop).
Enjoy your new CPU :p

Yes, the CPU will be compatible. If you can run the T4300 then you have a BIOS which supports the latest microcodes; you'll even be able to run the T9300/T9500. I've upgraded many laptops with socket P (more than I thought I ever would to be honest) and I can vouch that any CPU on socket P will compatible as long as it's FSB is 800MHz. Depending on your chipset however, you may even be able to accept 1066MHz; but that's not certain until you aware of your chipsets compatibility.

Upgrading from a T4300 to a T7700 may look good on paper, but generally you won't notice a performance boost. A T9300 may provide a minor and the most possible boost however, tied in with a SSD you'll be flying. ;)

All the best. :)
