Is raidmax a quality power supply brand?

Raidmax is in tier 5, the definitely not recommended list. I would say that IF the company turned around and started licensing quality OEMs like SeaSonic, Delta or ChannelWell and asked for quality engineering and parts, then they are okay, but until there is sufficient history of reliability, I'd say NO.

No. Usually most of their power supplies are absymal things that blow up. The newer units are ok/decent but you can find better.

This specific one is one of the better raidmax ones although I'd prefer seasonic/ corsair/ antec/ xfx units. This should be fine.
