GTX 680 NV Surround Question

Hi Everyone,

Managed to snag a GTX 680 and spontaneouslu bought a tri-mount and 2 more monitors to try this NV Surround thing out. Now I have performed eyefinity once in the past but it required a seperate ~$100 active display adapter which was annoying, esspecially since it didnt work all that well. Will I have to get this adapter for this card as well? I am hoping to skip the 3rd party stuff and use the 2x DVI + 1 HDMI port on the card.

no need for display port cables, you can use it but it is not necessary
