I used xmpeg 4.2a to make a divx I got the video in AVI and the audio in mp3 format. I tried to splice them together using nandub. I haven't had any luck. I got the instructions from doom9.org I followed all the instructions in the joining AVI with WAV but I changed the audio to mp3 instead of WAV.

What do you mean "I haven't had any luck."? Are you having sync problems? Level proplems? Problems encoding the video? Audio? What?

Can you play the video without the sound? Can you play the mp3 without the video? Using VD or Nandub is really easy. If everything is ready to go all you do is select the video and set the video to direct stream copy, then select mp3 audio and select direct steam copy for audio also, lastly you hit save avi, enter a file name and in about 2 minutes you are done. If this does not work you may have a problem with one of your input files. Check that they play independantly and that the sound stream is correct for the video. Good luck!LD
