Amd fx 8150 and heat

Hello,Why does amd not tell you with the boost switched on the fx 8150 you will with stpck cooler get heat issues i was getting 68c in battlefield 3 now that i have disabled boost in bios i am getting 51 -54c 3.6ghz is still good enough with eight cores isn't it?

The maximum operating temperature for a FX-8150 is 61°C -- it should not reach 68°C even if Turbo is turned on.

What is your case?

xcase denheb ghost+ i have installed two extra fans BIG case loads of ventallation stock cooler fitted correctly 20c cut in temp with boost turned off , also why would i really need 3.9-4.2 ghz with boost anyway i'm not trying to beat (Bolt) at the 100m lol

If you do not need going beyond 3.6GHz, then why are you worried about?
