Sli x ram what if the first gpu have more ram then 2nd

sli x ram what if the first gpu have more ram then 2nd does it follow the first larger ram? Thanks

You cannot enable SLI unless the RAM on both cards is the same size.

ok, sli uses only 1st gpu ram or 2nd also is it driver or hw related, thanks
