I am from India (hyderabad).
I am looking for entry level mid-range graphic card for my system. I have chosen 7750 and below is the purchase link place -

Gigabyte AMD/ATI GV-R775OC-1GI 1 GB GDDR5 Graphics Card

Could you please let me know if this card is compatible with my motherboard, its details given below
Gigabyte - GA-MA78GM-US2H
Proc - Phenom II X2 550

thanks greghome. The reason behind choosing in 7xxx series is that its made on newest 28nm node which should comparably less power hungry than 6xxx parts.

My PSU is 400W (i just opened my cabinet and verified). I think i should not have any issues with it.
My monitor is E2040T (LG).

One last question, So, this card says its on PCIe 3.0 std, whereas my motherboard is on PCIe 2.0 std. Would this not make any compatible issues?

hd7750 will definitely work
your cpu is bottleneck, try to unlock extra cores of that cpu and also try to overclock

thanks trugenius and greghome for answering. Appreciated :)

I have looked for unlocking options in BIOS, but i couldn't find any option like ACC, which are mentioned in the other posts. Guess my MB does not support unlocking option.

GA-MA78GM-US2H (Southbridge SB700, rev 1.0).

Thanks Again.

thanks greghome. Yeah i already tried for BIOS update. But unfortunately, the setup file which i dwd'ed from gigabyte would not run properly on my machine.

Any how, i am not too much bothered about cpu or any other system bottleneck as i am ready to sacrifice quality/resolution for smoother game play :)
