Wow okay that was bad i accidently hit Submit somehow. so my question is my GPU and GPU Get fairly hot in intense gaming marathons. I have 3 fans in my room + AC And all my windows open at once, But im using an HP Case from the factory. My Room gets fairly hot all the time(Right above garage/Southern california in the summer) so as you can guess it gets fairly hot. Any ideas on how to keep these parts cool. I sometimes will game for 8+ hours a day on weekends. My computer is on the floor inbetween my Desk and TV stand on carpet. Should I move it or?
First off it does no good to run A/C with windows open, close the windows! Get a low budget gaming case like a Rosewill Challenger or an Antec 300. Be more specific on system specs. You can add two fans on the side of the Challenger and only one on the Antec, so post some specs.
OEM cases from Del, HP/Compaq and Lenovo usually don't have very good cooling. Usually the cases are small and don't have very good airflow, that and the fact they have no cable management all leads to higer temp's. I would get a new case.
