I am new here....I am sorry if I have posted in the wrong thread

I have core 2 duo E7300@ 2.66 Ghz stock with ASUS P5GC-MX/GBL MoBo and 1 GB DDR2 RAM

I now plan it to upgrade to a budget gaming build....

I plan to buy ASUS P5G41T M LX3 motherboard and overclock my current CPU

4GB DDR3 RAM

and a Nvidia 550 Ti or Radeon 6770

I want to play games like gta 4,bf3,nfs run, skyrim etc

will this be enough for me for atleast next 1 and a half year??

do i need to upgrade to i3 if i overclock my current cpu to 3.3GHz because i'l use this rig for max. 2 years only.
plz help me with your suggestion

P.S. my gaming resolution would be 1366x768 as my 18.5 " monitor support it max...
suggestions for GPU is also welcomed to play these games at HIGH
thanks

you want a budget build using outdated hardware playing the newest games on high settings? I think your expectations are a little high.

I dont think hes asking too much. Most games are not cpu dependent, and that 550ti will do fine at 720p.

Sounds like a plan. Consider that when you do upgrade later, you will have an extra 775 mobo though.
