Hey, sorry if this has been asked before, but I didn't find the answer to part of my question.

I have a Q6600 built up on a 680i inside a HAF 922. My question is really simple, what are the pro and cons of having a 212evo and not a V6GT?

Also, will it be decent to build that in that mobo inside that case?

Cheers

The 212 evo is $20.00 less expensive then the v6, but both are overkill for a Q6600. They would look impressive! You have plenty of room to mount either. But I could not justify the cost for that old of processor.

I want to OC it to the max. I don't have money (brazil price tags for the loose) to build a new rig at the moment. So, since I have a quite "decent" GPU, I just want to OC the Q6600 even further (it's currently 2.9ghz - it's a g0), but I'm already getting high temps with the current cooler
