Buying a graphics card from eBay?

well it depends. Does the seller have good feeback? is the item new? if its used, is it so much cheaper thats its worth buying? Does the seller take returns? If its used and not that much cheaper than the new, it might be worth getting the new one.

So long as you buy through ebay and pay through paypal there are no reasons to feel any concern as they both look after you. Pay attention to the sellers feedback (for selling, not buying) and look at their selling history.

If everything seems fine then go for it, i got my ASUS GTX 570 Direct CUII on ebay for £200 (including shipping) from an average joe seller. Card overclocks fine, never had any hitches and has blistering performance, brilliant for something usually way out my price range.

If you get the card and it doesn't work then you can rely on paypal to sort it out pretty much instantly. I recommend having a few programmes installed to test the card straight away (GPUZ, Furmark, 3DMark, etc...)
