I was reading that the gtx 680 that I just ordered uses two six pin PCIe connectors instead of one eight and one six pin. I was wondering if that is compatible with my psu (Corsair TX750) which lists connectors as4 x 6+2-Pin ? From the way it is written it is tough for me to tell. Thanks so much!

Yep, it'll be fine - my PSU has 8x 6+2 pin connectors, and my GPUs each require 1 6pin and 1 8pin. The 6+2 means that it is a 6 pin with an optional extra 2 pin connector that can be connected if you need 8 pins. I believe that the 6 pin is 75w and 8pin is 150w, plus there is 75w coming through the PCI-e slot. I could be wrong about those numbers though.

So yeah, you should have absolutely no problem.
