It seems that Seagate is trying to be number one in everything - from their X15 drive to the latest 'monsterous' 180Gb HDD, - but in an extra large form factor. Gee, in this case, any HDD manufacturer in their right sense can simply come up with a 500Gb which requires 3 5.25" drive bays...

All developers are equal, but some are more equal than others (at M$)

ok then... dont most companies start of the double size hdds with a double size (thickness) drive and then go down... i personally wouldnt complain considering that its hard to find 2 drives to match it in size added together... even though performance would be a lot better... and anyway why not have large drives... i dont put any more than one drive per bay though i can fit 2 why risk overheating when you dont have to...
