Hey I have a Gigabyte-H61m-S2PV mobo and i was wondering is this holding back my i5 2500k cpu? should i upgrade, But i'm afraid too as i have never built or upgraded any pc before.?

No i Guess not could it just be I have not put my cpu to the test like run BF3 or something and i have read some terrible reviews about the mobo

It bottlenecks the cpu or something from its full quality's. what does that mean i have no idea about all this sorry.

What website, never heard of a mobo bottlenecking a CPU.

It might restrict overclocking a bit but that all probably as its a basic board, nothing fancy.

The biggest problem is that you can't overclock with a H61 board and you have a 2500K. Besides that, the motherboard is hardly ever the bottleneck in a system, and it wouldn't have anything to do with CPU when it is.
