ASUS P8Z68-V LX Intel Z68 Motherboard ($115)

Intel Core i5-2500K ($220)

Patriot G2 Series 8GB DDR3 (1600 Mhz) ($48)

Video Card

EVGA GTX 560 Ti 1GB ($225)

Sound Card

Creative Labs Sound Blaster Audigy 7.1 ($30)

Seagate Barracuda 1TB ($100)

Optical Drive

Lite-On Internal DVD Writer ($18)

Cooler Master HAF 912 Mid-Tower ($60)

Power Supply

Ultra LSP650 650-Watt Power Supply ($55)

Both about the same price, but i heard the first build is better quality, but i have a feeling the second build is more balanced. Any suggestions, on why one build is better than the other?? I just want to be able to play games on high settings comfortably. Some games on ultra but i won't go past a $1000 budget for my first build.

The first build gets my vote. The Radeon HD 7850 outperforms the GTX560 Ti and has an incredible overclocking headroom which can put it near GTX580 it won't disappoint you :)
