$450 budget gaming PC. Please help! :D

Hey guys, I'm looking to build a $450 (BUILT FOR GAMING) PC. Here's what I want:

Intel CPU & MOBO (need help deciding witch one, thinking about i3 or i5. If you can get the i5 within my $450, that'd be great. :D)
Rosewill CHALLENGER Case
4GB of ram
500GB HDD
Don't care about Optical Drive
And, a cheap PSU that works.

I don't care about over-clocking. I already have Windows 7, along with a 1080P monitor, and mouse + keyboard. If you can please have it have Wi-Fi! I don't have ethernet in my place of gaming :(.

Please guys, help me with this! It's my first build, and I really want to get gaming soon! Thanks. Oh, and also, I would like it to run Skyrim on medium quality and up.

Thanks,

Clp :)

  1. What do you mean care for overclocking? You won't or you're will to? Also, don't think about i3 OR i5 for a budget gaming build. All you're getting is a Pentium unless you're willing to overclock the HD 3000...
  2. I don't care if I can or can't overclock. And, okay. After reading a few things, I've decided that a Pentium is pretty good for gaming...

    Same price but better.

I would actually tell you to get an i3-2105 and overclock the HD 3000.

    Also, you're missing a PSU.

BTW, you need an optical drive to install windows 7.

  13. Actually, now that I'm looking at benches, the 6870 can handle ultra settings! The 6850 averages 39.8 fps, with 33 fps min, so I'm guesstimating the 6870 will average mid-40's.
