First Build, $1000 Budget, Trying to purchase ASAP

This is my first time putting together a PC. I would like to do some gaming as well as image editing on it. I'd also like to keep a small form factor. These is what I've come up with. Please let me know what you think. Thank you all in advance.

  1. I also have a 120 GB Intel SSD that I plan on using as a boot drive. Please let me know if everything is compatible. Thanks again.
  2. Looks good! I know some will question ITX, but it is just fine!

The only thing I can think to change is the CPU to a 3570k (since you're getting a z77 board).
And also the case has only one spot for a 2.5inch and 1 spot for a 3.5 inch drive. Your SSD would be taking the 2.5 and you can fit a 3.5 (HDD) in the other. It would be cheaper to get a 1TB 3.5 inch HDD instead of the 2.5 inch 750gb you chose.
  4. Will an overclocked 2500k be faster than a stock 3570k due to the heat problems with Ivy Bridge?
  5. a IB 4.2GHz matches a SB 4.5GHz

when IB gets to 4.5Ghz it tends to get hot so thats where good After market heatsinks come into play

NOTE: WB scorpio is there laptop HDD series save some money and go with WD caviar blue

    about $80
