VCORE?

Hey everyone,


I am not very familiar with vcore volatges and what they should be. Currently I have a 3770k that runs ata bout 1.044 v at idle but in some gaming it will get up to 1.190v. I this normal? It is not overclocked what so ever and turbo boost is enabled. Thanks for the help.

Yes I just found it really wierd. I had a pop up on AIDA64 that said vcore at .68xxx which prompted me to monitor it a little more. I was unaware that voltages would flucuate that much. At which point should I be concerned? This my first build so I am just trying to make sure all of my hardware is solid.

On the low end, I wouldn't get concerned unless my computer locked up or crashed. (lower is better until you get so low that the CPU is unstable)

On the high side, I wouldn't worry about Vcore below 1.25v. (At stock settings)
