If I drain all power from my computer by unplugging the power cable and pressing the power button a few times, the computer will refuse to turn on for the next few minutes. No LED's turn on, and the PSU seems to be dead. This problem seems to occur every time I drain the power.

I have checked that the power signal wire from the case is correctly plugged into the motherboard and that the wire is undamaged. My case does not have a system speaker, so I'm unsure if any errors have occurred.

Is this a problem with the motherboard or PSU?

Why are you trying to drain the power anyway, just out of curiosity?

I can't answer your question exactly, only thing I can think of is maybe the Caps need to recharge before the board can power up.
