Suggest a processor

Hello,
I have been searching for an entry workstation for 3ds max modelling and rendering, i need more speed in rendering please suggest me with the following processors
a. Quad-Core Intel Xeon E5620
b. Intel Core i7 3770k ivy Bridge Processor

Also suggest me with Asus dual CPU Board for Xeon processor and SMPS Watts for this combination.
