  1. That's a very nice build for your first time out and I would like to make a few suggestions to help you get a better gaming rig put together.
I would get a less expensive motherboard , cpu and half of the ram and put that money saved from those choices into a better video card. In a gaming rig it's all about the video card and the better card the better the gaming experience. I'm not sure of your budget and don't know if you have one but a GTX 560Ti or 570 or 670 would be a tremendous improvement over the 550Ti.

    do you think this

    http://www.amazon.com/Cooler-Master-Series-Supply-RS650-ACAAE3-US/dp/B0035WTD2G/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1338156992&sr=8-1

    will support a EVGA 570 And the i5 3570k?
  5. The motherboard that you already have will support the 3570 because it's the same socket type and you may need a bios update for that cpu. The psu (CoolerMaster) is not a good brand choice but the size (650w) will support the 570 and 3570 , I would like to see a better brand quality wise, it's to your benefit. I don't think that the 560 is a good choice but if it's what you can aford then you should go for it , since it's a better card then the 550Ti.
  6. a BIOs update?
