The join date on my profile is wrong - it should be in 1994 not 1970

Viewing my threads and posts brings up only one thread I commented upon a week ago and none of the threads I have commented on more recently and also when clicking on a link in the e-mail notification says there is no such thread.

Can a mod please look into this?

More about : join date thread tracking bug

A couple software updates back the join dates all got messed up so many people's join date is a timestamp of 0 which is January 1st 1970.

Could you paste the text of the email into a post? It is possible it got moved or deleted which would cause the address in the email not to point to the correct location.

If I click on my own name I get the publicly viewable profile and the link on there which should show all the threads that I have contributed to. This list shows only one thread in the UK and Ireland General discussion section and no others. No matter how many threads I post in it still shows this single thread. This occurs even if I am not signed in and using a different computer (i.e. anonymous user). Thread tracking appears to be broken. I'm OK with the start date bit, but I would like to keep track of threads I've contributed to even when I'm not able to get to my e-mails.

So thread tracking between the mirrors appears to be totally botched. You do indeed only have one thread when looking at your post history from tomshardware.co.uk; however, if you look at your post history from tomshardware.com you have an accurate posting history that appears to include all of your posts.

The mirrors aren't very mirror like so you need to ensure you are on the correct one for certain things, you can also only edit posts that were posted from the mirror you are on which complicates things more.
