Hello there,

I'm in the USAF and will be deploying relatively soon. I bought new laptop (Alienware!) and would like some way to securely tunnel to my connection from home. Apparently wifi will be available at my location, but it won't be secured and with thousands of people at this base I'm not going to chance my bank details being stolen, etc.

The PROBLEM is that I want more than just a HTTP proxy. I've currently got a hamachi network running and have bridged my internet and hamachi network on my gateway pc. I'm trying to figure out some way to force the laptop to only use that hamachi connection.

I'm a bit confused and any ideas are helpful!

If you set up a VPN tunnel you should be able to achieve what you're wanting to do :) There's a lot to this process, and unfortunately I'm not too familiar with it, so I think it'd be best just to start reading up on it.

Good luck! :)

[SOLVED]

Remote PC: ProxyCap (forces all/single programs to use a specific network adapter)
Gateway PC: FreeProxy Internet Suite (SOCKS5 proxy)

Works incredibly well and is completely free!!!
