I am building a new PC, (at the moment i have a 1st gen i7@ 1.6ghz with a nvidia 320) i would like advice, and I need to know if i need to buy any or SATA cables etc.

I would like to connect the 3 Case fans (but am not sure if there enough ports) into the motherboard so they are controllable from system software.

Please review this build listed below.

Drop the 140mm fan. The case has plenty of cooling.

most times you have to use a y fan cable. they make them for both three pin fan headers and 4 pins. the mb on new egg said there were only three i would download the owners guild for the mb your looking at and see if it matches up.

The board comes with two SATA cables (it's in the newegg pic) so your good to go.

http://www.asrock.com/mb/overview.asp?Model=970%20Extre... <----- there's a list of all your headers and connections. Your going to be fine.
