My Core I5 2400 OC'ed to 3.4ghz. Are my temps all right?

I have my core i5 2400 slight Overclock to 3.4 ghz and i ran prime95 blend test for 1 Hour and my max temps are 68C and it Idles around 40C according to HWMonitor. Is that a Decent temp or should i lower the OC a bit? I have a Cooler master Hyper N520 aftermarket CPU cooler on it.

Im new to this if you didn't already know. :hello:

thanks for the reply and thanks for the info. :)
  3. With the Intel® Core™ i5-2400 if you are staying under 70c you are fine. http://ark.intel.com/products/52207/Intel-Core-i5-2400-Processor-6M-Cache-up-to-3_40-GHz
  4. How did you achieve this OC? At the reference clock or playing with the turbo? If you are reference clock overclocking, I would not do that at all. Even slight changes to the 100mhz stock frequency puts you at risk of serious system instability.

I just changed the multiplier in the Turbo settings in the BIOS to x34 instead of x31. Nothing to special.
  6. SB can handle up to 95C.
