Hi, i just got a i3 2100 + MSI H61 mobo combo deal from microcenter, and am wondering what gpu would be the best bang for the buck for 1650x1050 resolution? I would like to play Wow, skyrim and starcraft2 at ultra settings (maybe low or no aa).

My price range is ~100 bucks, Can i get a card that can do this at 1650x1050 res?

the 6770 is probably the best card for that price range.

I've been looking at 6670 vs 6770 and is there a huge difference btw them with my setup? I'm asking b/c http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E168... seems like a steal at 65 bucks and its seems you can OC pretty easily without fan noics/temp issues. I know i said my budget was ~100 bucks but I was wondering if the performance difference justifies the price difference.

Also, will a 6770 be able to do wow and skyrim at ultra@1650x1050res? I've read alot of articles that say yes but then when i look at thard's individual tests it seems that i would only get mediocre fps. I would like to get around 50-60 fps and maybe dip to 40fps in a raid setting, should I be looking at like a 6850 to achieve this?

Judge for yourself...

The following is a link to a review of the Radeon HD 6670 benchmarked against other cards. The Radeon HD 6750 and HD 6770 are simply the older Radeon HD 5750 and HD 5770 with a different. Note that the test rig uses a Core i7-920 @ 3.8GHz

From these tests it seems that a gtx 550 ti , which i think microcenter is selling an Evga gtx 550 ti for 95$ is a good deal. Is 5770/6770 better than gtx 550 ti for these games/settings or pretty much even? This website is awesome btw thanks for posting it.

I also notice that the evga gtx 550ti seems to be very very popular compared to a 6770 that seems to perform just as well. Anyone out there familar with either or?

Overall more or less even. Most go with the 5770/6770 for the better power figures.

Overall the GTX 550 Ti is more powerful than the Radeon HD 6770. However, it also consumes the most power. Before actually buying a video card you should let us know what power supply you have.
