Philips Acoustic Ege Question

If anyone has a Philips Acoustic Edge sound card please let me know if you've encountered this problem. I was building my new system today and I slid my Acoustic Edge in the pci slot and it fit nicely, but when I placed the motherboard in the case I noticed the sound card was a little lower than it needed to be. The bar on the side of the card with the ports and in/and outs is to small. My other cards fit fine, but this was to small. The only way I can fit the card on the case chassis is if the card is not completely in the pci slot, otherwise if it's in the pci slot it's to low to fit and tighten into place on the chassis. If anyone has encountered this problem or might have a solution please let me know. I called Philips and they had no answer. If worse comes to worse I return it but I hate the hassle. Thanks!
