Core performance boost on or off for overclock CPU?

I just overclocked my AMD FX-4100 from 3.6 stock to 4.0 ghz. I know it isnt much but I was wondering, should I turn off Core Performance Boost for the best performance? And if I do turn it on, do i still keep everything else the same? Like if my voltages are still on auto and its stable at 4.0, do I just still keep voltage on auto with performance boost off?

Thanks!

All I did was raise multiplier that's it and everything working fine, I'm wondering if I should turn off or on boost performance though?

I kept "turbo" enabled when I overclocked my 1045t but ended up disabling it when I overclocked a 4100 to 4.4 Ghz. It just hurt stability too much.

You can adjust the turbo speed without adjusting the CPU speed. (so you could have turbo just increase speed by 100 Mhz on a single core if you wanted to.
