Computer won't turn on after I remove CPU,GPU,CPU FAN, SATA

Power Supply plugged into AC.


P1 connector connected. Molex connector connected to DVD drive. GPU and RAM inserted. CPU inserted.
Connectors that come with case connected.


Why wont my PC turn on?

  1. Do you have the CPU power cable connected?

    Do you have a CPU fan plugged in?

  5. No, connect the PSU power led, reset led, and case power buttons and press on. Does the PSU turn on AND spin?
  6. Ok did it, hit the power button and nothing happened.
  7. I just lost the paper clip. Funny.

    Any other methods?

    if it doesn't run a fan the PSU is flonky.

    just connecting it to the motherboard may not tell the whole story.
  9. Can you try unplug the power cord, hold the start button for 30sec to 1 min and plug it back, then start?
