Do you have the CPU power cable connected?

Do you have a CPU fan plugged in?

No, connect the PSU power led, reset led, and case power buttons and press on. Does the PSU turn on AND spin?

so what the hell... am i suppose to do that and plug in a fan as well? if the fan runs then the PSU is fine?

if it doesn't run a fan the PSU is flonky.

just connecting it to the motherboard may not tell the whole story.

Can you try unplug the power cord, hold the start button for 30sec to 1 min and plug it back, then start?
