I5 2400 99 CELSIUS!!

Hello there, My cpu has recently showed temps of 90-99 under load (Borderlands 2 to be exact)

It's on the stock cooler, But i mean is it possible? Or am i getting false readings? (Speedfan is the software) Is it safe?



And one more thing: is this cpu overclook-able?

check at temp at bios , if high too .. your system to HOT, maybe need fix thermal paste or get bew cooler or update bios

Your HSF might be coming loose. I would simply get a 212+ or 212EVO, bolt it down and not have to worry about it ever again.
